Imagine H2O, a leading powerhouse in the water technology industry, took on CivilGrid as one of the cohorts for their 2023 Accelerator Program.

Through this program, the CivilGrid team is gaining mentorship and collaboration opportunities from Imagine H2O and their partners. CivilGrid is building the Google Maps equivalent of the underground to provide the infrastructure and construction community with the critical site data that they need to build more safely, efficiently, and quickly.

The team at CivilGrid is working with utilities and public works agencies to help them build, renew and protect their critical infrastructure networks. This is important as their water distribution and sewer collection systems can consist of hundreds to thousands of miles for each utility type. Infrastructure renewal and climate mitigation efforts depend upon the successful execution of thousands of individual construction projects. Some examples are lead service line replacements, pipe rehabilitation and construction of new pipes, pumping stations, green infrastructure, and every other piece of infrastructure. CivilGrid helps engineers and contractors execute each of these construction projects more safely and efficiently.

“Imagine H2O’s track record of working with startups and helping them penetrate the water sector was very attractive to us,” said Josh Mackanic, founder and CEO of CivilGrid. “That’s why we were so excited to get in [the Accelerator Program]. The guidance they’ve given us has been invaluable,” Mackanic continued.

CivilGrid will be featured at Imagine H2O’s Demo Day 2023, where they, alongside the other company cohorts of the Accelerator Program, will demonstrate how their unique business is changing the water world for the better. The goal for them is simple: earn investments and change the world.
